Sunday Afternoon
We have had a wonderful Sunday so far. Lunch at our house with the Verdell's. Summer and Aiden joined us as well. But by the time they got here the camera was long gone from being feasable (sp?). The kids had fun running over eachother with the jeep in the backyard with.:). Gotta go Ruby is callng.
3 reasons why...
I am a morning person and here are three reasons why. Brady gives me a little slack for wanting to go to bed no later than 9:30 these days. Partly because I know I may have to get up at any given time at night and partly because I am so tired by the end of my days. This morning started around 5:30 AM. I enjoyed a quiet hour and a half with Ruby. Just she and I. Then maggie rolled down around 7 and Mimi around 7:30. Cuddle time with all three, perfect morning!
Big Weekend
Goodness, you had a big weekend. Daddy has been out of town for a week, home for a day in between so the girls stayed at the farm for a few days for VBS and then they, Mammy and the girls; came to stay with us. All 5 of us girls had a great time. I couldn't have done it with out Mammy as I am still pumping every 2-3 hours. I think today will be my last day for that, things have healed nicely. We went to Brenon's Birthday Party, then to Daniel's, you showed Mammy your church on Sunday. You girls were so proud to share it with her, especially your big sister Mags. Then we got brave and took you all the way to the farm for the last performance of VBS at Daddy's hometown church. We got to see Pop and had a great time. You did great in the car on the way there and on the way home. You have been having a little bit of an upset tummy, I hope it is not colic! But nothing consistant yet so we will see. I love you honey. You did so good during this busy weekend.
Brady's new babies
Daddy got a new baby this week. The Davis boys are getting vintage fever and Brady is following suit. We picked up his "International Scout" yesterday and Brady couldn't wait to put Ruby in it. B has wanted one for years and he finally found one that he loved and it was only 2.5 hours away. The car ride with Ruby was interesting, took 6 hours to travel 139 miles. Here I am pumping and nursing in the back seat at around 10PM, Ruby is crying in daddy's arms in the front seat and we see blue lights behind us. Little did that cop know that he was about to get an eye full. What an adventure.
